It followed the exact flow of the Hero's Journey:
Now I understand that to be a hero you must BELIEVE in your destiny. Just you and a few who share the same Path.
I guess because you believe in me, I too believe in my purpose.
So we made it. Now is to continue with the daily challenges. I cannot stop now. The end is the new beginning. Time to start fresh. The final ending is still far ahead. We probably has to go through several cycles before we reach the finish line.
Yes, it was a story, but it is also a powerful metaphor. The journey is different but the backdrop is still the same.
We must strive to be who we intended to be. Otherwise we cannot be God, we cannot be a man fully functioning.
All these physical pain and the Sleepiness, Laziness, Inertia and Procrastination (SLIP) are the challenges in the Hero's Journey; my journey to be the person I intend to be. I must persist until I make it.
Of course in a movie that lasted for 2 hours tops. The Hero's Journey is a lifetime adventure.
With that I have to say goodbye for the day.
Here is your lullaby baby:
It's cheesy but it drives the message home. Tomorrow I will start with my next phase of the journey.
Goodnight Sarah...
