I am all alert.
So this posting is a short one. I want to look good and smell good right after writing this.
This upbeat song is on air in Absolute Rock:
Then I want to sit back and enjoy reading Relentless.
In the mean time I listen to Tim Grover:
I got to get into this guys's mind. Change of plan. I'll study Tim Grover for today. He is a 1964 baby and already he is way ahead [with] me.
Master the basics.
He started training Micheal Jordan in 1989. At the age of 30.
The zone is about clarity. Stop thinking. Just go out and play. Turn it into a reflex.
To a Cleaner their instinct trust them.
Your obligation to yourself has to be greater than anybody's obligation on you.
If you want to be happy has no expectation of other people.
You are not born with greatness, you got to earn greatness.
To be in paradise you got to fight like hell.
Hey I had been there.
Coolers, Closer and Cleaner. You need all three. Can you be a Cleaner in multiple things? No. You be a Cleaner in one thing. You maybe a Cooler in other thing.
Yes I agree. I am a Cleaner Consultant but I am just about to be a Closer athlete.
I have to add something new every year. Everybody got talent but do you have the intelligent to go with it. Then you have to be competitive. Dealing with failure - you got to have resiliency.
This is not being a good person.
You got to be addicted to what you do. You got to work long hours. You got to work smarter AND harder.
You have to be obsessive. You identity starts and end with you.
Everybody has a dark side. It is not [] being bad. It is what unique to you. The dark side keeps your fire lit. The analogy of Batman and Superman. That's who they really are. Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent are their alter ego.
Who I really am? I am the Cracker Jack Consultant going for Athlete4Life Cleaner. My alter ego is Sharudin the Sloth. How about that?
This is who I really am:
I am an unstoppable fighter.
This is not about participation trophy.
You got to have action. You got to deliver.
Surround the people that educate you instead of entertain you.
How do you make muscles grow. Through resistance. You have to continue to add resistance.
That's how your brain grows. You brain need pressure. That's how it thrives. It need to be challenged. Never be satisfied. Always want more.
Why is it worth it? Because the result is fucking good.
*Before you have a skill set, you got to have the mindset.
* This is the opposite of Acta Non Verba but I think you need both physical AND mental abilities. I know better because I am a goddamn executioner. Without body there is no mind.
The great of the great hang out with the great.
In this case the great read books about the great at the very least. READ!

Let's understand his mental model:
You have to control the dark side.
In my case they are my SLIP Demons.
We do a couple more:
In addition I discovered Chasing Excellence by Ben Bergeron:
It all boils down to the ABILITY TO TAKE ACTION.
Talent X Effort = Skill
Skill X Effort = Achievement
Effort counts TWICE
